Well hello! There’s nothing I love more than connecting with my clients & learning all about you & your story. Let me start. Here’s a few little things to know about me, your soon-to-be photographer ;)

I’m Ava, Ava May Hansen. I’m telling you my full name because I love it so much. How narcissistic of me lol! My mom and I share the same middle name, and I have it tattooed on my arm just because I love everything sentimental. I think that’s what drew me to photography. Capturing little moments in my life and making them into this big sentimental thing that I cherish with my whole heart. I love being able to hold onto a memory through a photograph, and when I take the photo, I already feel nostalgic and think to myself, “Wow, I’m going to miss this moment.”

I’m happiest when I’m traveling. If I’m in a different place and you put a coffee & a film camera in my hands, I’m basically skipping down the streets. Music means everything to me. If I’m not listening to music, something is very wrong with me and you need to call for help. I listen to music all day long. So if you get your gallery back and are sensing an undertone of Cocteau Twins, Beach House, or The Sundays, just know I was editing your photos for 50 hours listening!

Oh, almost forgot the basic stuff... I’m 22 years old, born & raised in Utah, I love my friends & family more than anything, I’m happiest on a plane headed somewhere fun, & of course, I’m obsessed with photography! It’s my everything. And my job (still can’t believe I get to say that).
